By Nancy Spannaus
December 27, 2018—Today I submitted the manuscript of my upcoming book to the publisher – the first step in what will be a process of months before the book appears. But I’m very enthusiastic about it.

The book title is Hamilton versus Wall Street; subtitle The Core Principles of the American System. It’s focused on Hamilton’s economics, especially the Report on Manufactures and its influence in American history and certain critical places in the world. It won’t be lengthy or academic; it’s aimed at taking advantage of the upsurge in interest in Hamilton generated by the musical, by getting people to concentrate on his essential contributions of relevance for today.
As we get closer to publication, I’ll share some content on the blog, and perhaps request some support.
And while I’m at it, let me wish my readers a (belated) Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Let this be the year that Hamilton’s American System finally vanquishes Wall Street once and for all.
